Iain Sinclair, Building Project Manager

Iain Sinclair has been in the construction for over thirty-five years. Since first coming to Canada from Scotland in 1986 for Expo he has worked on an eclectic group of projects as either a Development Consultant or Project Manager. His projects have spanned the globe from Middle East petrochemical installations, the edgy Lloyds of London structure, to raising form her watery grave, King Henry the Eight’s Tudor Warship, Mary Rose.

As Projects Director at Kindred Construction, a builder of quality institutional, commercial and residential projects, Iain is currently working on the restoration of downtown Eastside single resident occupancy hotels and planning a $50m health facility.

As a musician, Iain has travelled the world performing and teaching. For the past four years he has worked on the Canadian Images Screen Committee for the Vancouver International Film Festival. His love of the photographic image leads him to combine work with pleasure as his camera is always at hand documenting his life.

Being a keen sports fan and also having worked as a consultant on all of the 2010 venues, Iain is delighted to be involved in a public art project involving the Olympics, and is instrumental in helping to physically realize the mobile theatre containR Project.
